Depth Strider Mod for Minecraft Bedrock: Faster than a Boat

As you know, the creatures that are called Striders in Minecraft PE do not tolerate water. The situation is quite different with those mobs that the Depth Strider Mod adds to the game.  Outwardly, they are very similar to the original creatures, but at the same time, they have several distinctive features.

By the way, the authors have created other variants of this type of inhabitants of the cubic world to diversify the gameplay and make it even more interesting.

Depth Strider

In the standard version of Minecraft PE, these creatures are used by players to move around a territory that is covered with lava and not receive damage at the same time. The mechanics of interacting with creatures that Depth Strider Mod adds to the game are similar, only now you can overcome water expanses.

Unfortunately, the speed of movement on water is much less than on land. You can tame a new creature with a fishing rod with algae. For crafting you will need a fishing rod and seaweed directly.

The authors of this add-on for Depth Strider Mod decided that these beautiful creatures deserve to get more variety in Minecraft PE. Now it will be possible to meet them not only in Nether World but also, for example, in basalt deltas or even in the Upper World.

It is worth noting that a total of 10 new creatures will appear in the cubic world. Some of them, as before, can be tamed and used to move through lava, but others will be extremely dangerous and can greatly harm the hero.

Void Striders

This update adds a new feature for Striders. Its essence is that now these mobs can fly through the air. It is enough to tame a creature new to Minecraft PE with the help of chorus fruit and you can go on a flight to distant islands.

It is worth noting that for the Depth Strider Mod to work, you must enable the Experimental Game mode.
